How Is My Booking Fee Determined?

Booking fees are dictated by the host organizations as they set the hourly rates for each individual space. In addition to the hourly rate, you may also be charged for any add-ons to the space which include heat and air conditioning, scoreboard, lights, field grooming, lifeguards and supervisors, and others. Some of the add-ons are optional, some are already factored into the organization's rental price. Total fees will be displayed to a user before the user sends a booking request to a host. Payments are not final until the reservation request is confirmed by the host.

Costs determined by the host:

  • Hourly rental rate

  • Add-ons

  • Sales Tax

Costs determined by Spotz:

  • Spotz Insurance - 1.2% (not applicable to every rental)
  • Spotz Service Fee - $2/rental or $5/recurring rental
